Lynn Divoky, BSN, RN, is a retired gastroenterology nurse, health advocate, writer, and member of the Healing Humanity team whose remarkable personal journey has given her a powerful new mission.

After more than 35 years of chronic illness and consultations with 17 specialists, Lynn was diagnosed in 2022 with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and Hereditary Alpha Tryptasemia, conditions that had progressed to the point that she was forced into medical retirement and ultimately deemed fully disabled.

In May 2023, Lynn began a carnivore diet and later adopted a low-histamine Lion Diet approach; she reports dramatic improvements in her symptoms, mobility, and quality of life along with a weight loss of more than 160 pounds.

Today, known online as Midlife Carnivore, Lynn brings together decades of nursing experience and the hard-earned perspective of having been both healthcare professional and complex patient.

She appears in Healing Humanity: The Power of a Proper Human Diet, writes extensively for Healing Humanity on metabolic and chronic health topics, and speaks openly about MCAS, histamine intolerance, obesity, and the importance of continuing to search for answers when conventional approaches fall short.
