Who They Are

Courtney Luna is a carnivore content creator, former yacht chef, cookbook author, and homeschooling mother who shares her journey toward better health through a meat-based diet. After decades of yo-yo dieting and disordered eating, Courtney found lasting change through a carnivore lifestyle, losing approximately 60 pounds and reporting that she was able to discontinue medications for depression and anxiety, clear chronic acne, and end more than 25 years of unhealthy patterns around food. With a background in professional cooking, she brings creativity and practicality to carnivore eating, emphasizing freedom from food obsession and making a meat-based lifestyle satisfying, sustainable, and realistic for everyday families. In January 2026, Courtney and her family sold their California home and began traveling full-time, demonstrating that carnivore living can work even while homeschooling, traveling, and moving between a converted van and temporary homes. Her first cookbook, Carnivore in the Kitchen: A Fresh and Fun Approach to Meat-Based Meals, was published by Victory Belt Publishing on October 1, 2024, bringing her practical, creative approach to carnivore cooking to an even wider audience.
